Ann Wilson was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and lives there still. She attended the University of Toronto where she studied English and then Law. After practicing for many years in the private and public sectors, she decided to devote herself full time to her painting.
Ann's work reflects her life in Canada, cottage, country and urban. She paints largely in oil on canvas, but occasionally in encaustic on wood, and sometimes mixed media with wood and photos. Examples of each are presented here.
Her exhibitions include the following:

Uxbridge Juried Art Show, Uxbridge
Women's Art Association, Toronto
Rebellion Gallery, Toronto
Spazio del Arte, Toronto

Her works are in private collections across Canada in Toronto, Muskoka, Ottawa, Creemore, Montreal, Victoria and Nova Scotia, and elsewhere around the world in Vermont, Nantucket, New York, Florida and Lebanon.
